Randy Wray attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, the Maryland Institute College of Art (BFA) and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.


Awards include the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship and the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation Studio Residency.


Solo exhibitions include White Columns (New York, NY), Weatherspoon Art Museum (Greensboro, NC), Galeria Camargo Vilaça (São Paulo, Brazil) and Greenville County Art Museum (Greenville, SC).
